PK Misra, secretary in the ministry of steel recently visited the National Mineral Development Corporation and held discussions with Rana Som, CMD, of the public sector giant and other directors. Misra was apprised of the company’s expansion and diversification plans in both India and abroad.
Meanwhile Vigilance Awareness Week was observed at the NMDC from October 31 to November 05.
Rana Som said vigilance was not a separate discipline in the organisation but every individual should act as a vigilance officer by virtue of his duties and responsibilities.
