NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydropower company and a ‘Mini Ratna’ Category-I Enterprise of the Government of India has been awarded the ‘Best Performing Generation Company (Hydro)’ at Power Line Awards 2012.
CMD ABL Srivastava received the award from Power minister Sushilkumar Shinde, at the power line awards.
The prestigious power line awards recognize excellence and outstanding performance in the Indian Power sector in the fields of generation, transmission and distribution. The awards were adjudged by an eminent jury and were supported by research conducted by Power Line.
