The South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) recently added another feather to its cap. The Mine Ratna coal major has made a unique effort by commencing “Unique Tutorial Classes” for the students of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, who want to take up higher studies via national level competitive examinations.
Required arrangements have been made for such students to participate at a very nominal fee, so that they can be imparted coaching.
On his recent visit to SECL, Chairman Coal India, Partha S Bhattacharyya inaugurated a modern library meant for these students and named it after former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
This library is situated at MDI Indira Vihar, SECL, Bilaspur. The library has also been provided with a facility of e-Learning from Bangalore. In this regard, CMD-SECL MP Dikshit made special efforts for providing facilities at these tutorial classes. In a special drive, SECL management has decided to provide one modern library and one garden at each command area of SECL.
