Neyveli Lignite Corporation CMD B Surender Mohan and its Director (Human Resources) Sarat Kumar Acharya have bagged awards in appreciation of their contributions in their respective fields of operation.

A statement from the NLC said that Mr Mohan had been given the “Mining leader of India” award for setting a benchmark in the mining operation and Mr Acharya, the “HR leader of India Award.” The awards had been instituted by the Institute of Public Enterprises (IPE) and the Asian Pacific HRM Congress. The awards were presented by Ramkumar Mishra, Director, IPE, YVL Pandit, Managing Director, SHL India Pvt Ltd, and Sachdev Ramakrishna, marketing head, STERIA Ltd., at a function in Bangalore.
